Social Hub of Southwood Park

Who are we?
We’re your friends and neighbors.

We’re friends who welcome you into a warm and inviting place, filling your senses with stimulating conversation, intoxicating scents and an enticing blend of flavors. After a couple visits, we’ll be on a first-name basis. And don’t be surprised if you see our families and yes, our kids, in the mix of people. We are family-owned and operated, and we want you to feel at home in our circle.

We know you’re as busy as we are, so don’t be afraid to pack your laptop, order up a warm latte or chai and settle in for some research. You’re bound to run into someone you know, and a work routine can rapidly turn social when you’re among friends. We find that’s often the case at the Friendly Fox.Lunch
We’re serious about food, so we only serve the best to our friends. That’s why each of our salads has its ownsignature dressing. We’ve pooled outables and chairsr culinary talents and experience to ladle up some of the most interesting, and tasty, homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, pastries and smoothies you’ll find anywhere. We’re a favorite local hang for breakfast, lunch and dinner regulars.

We’re also your neighbors. We live in Southwood Park, so we do business as close to home as we can, be it purchasing our gourmet coffee from Utopian Coffee, to choosing amazing products from our local multicultural vendors. We are passionate about keeping our neighborhood warm and inviting, with just enough urban edginess to keep the near-downtown group of artists and professionals coming back. We’re an interesting mix with discerning tastes and a casual, come-as-you-are attitude.

You’ll fit right in.

It is always a delight to participate as a patron in your establishment. Kudos. Don’t forget Albright’s chicken breakflast sausage, it would be asome.

It is our favorite place to go for breakfast on Saturdays with the family. We absolutely love it!!! Kendra and Becky make the best bar drinks and I love the latte art.

    • Lucky me! I’m just next door-Born Again Quilts and enjoy their ambience. Can’t wait for our new neighbor on the other side The Ginger Kitchen to open and start cranking out the ice cream!

I love the Friendly Fox and I really loved your pretzels and queso that you used to have. Maybe you could bring them back?

    • We love to hear that you love The Friendly Fox. Everything we make here is from scratch and unfortunately the pretzels and cheese were not made here in house. Maybe we can try to make some house made pretzels sometime

  17. You guys are STILL killin’ it. You’re my secret jewel: any friend who visits from out of town, or who has recently relocated to the Fort, is obligated to join me at your place for a meal. Did Concierge work in a big city, and have eaten at plenty of places: your service, atmosphere and food quality are wonderful…. and all for unbelievable prices.

(If you haven’t checked them out, you NEED to go.)
